Choi Seung-Han majored in Korean Education at Gyeongin National University of Education, and earned a master’s degree in Korean Education at Seoul National University of Education. Choi taught elementary school, and then worked as a researcher at Korea Elementary Korean Language Education Institution and Korea Textbook Research Foundation. Currently, Choi writes books for children and participates in making elementary school Korean textbooks.​
